神田造船所は2017年に創業80周年を迎えました。
これもひとえにお客様、地域の皆様の温かいご愛顧のおかげだと感謝しております。
創業以来一筋に船づくりの道を歩んで参りました。
あらゆる船種を作って参りましたが、
1900年代には高度成長を支える人、物の輸送手段として瀬戸内を走るフェリーを数多く建造し、
「フェリーの神田」と呼ばれておりました。
また2000年代に入り世界の新興国の発展を受けてバラ積み貨物の輸送需要が急増するとSMALL HANDYシリーズを開発し、
「KANDAのHANDY」というブランドを確立するに至りました。
お引渡後何十年と船を使うお客様の為、早くから修繕業も手掛けております。
いつの時代もお客様のニーズ＝時代のニーズを的確に捉え、良い仕事をし、良い船を提供することを目指してきました。
海運、造船業界は今、激動の時代を迎えています。
次の時代に向けて「○○のKANDA」を数多く創造して参ります。
Shipbuilding of the New Age
We, KANDA SHIPPBUILDING Co., Ltd., passed the 80th Anniversary in 2017.
We sincerely appreciate the customers and the local residents who have always supported us.
Since our establishment, we have put all of our passion into shipbuilding.
We have built many kinds of ships.
In the 20th century, we had built many ferries as cargo and commercial transportation that cross the Setouchi, supporting the rapid economic growth of Japan.
Thus, we had been called "KANDA, the Ferry Builder".
Then, in the 21st century, under the development of world economy, the demand of shipping bulk cargo suddenly increased. We then created the Small Handy Series.
Thus giving us a new brand, "KANDA’S HANDY".
Since the early times, we have continued ship repairs for our long time ship owners.
We have always pursued working hard to meet the needs and providing a good ship for our customers.
Through recently, for the maritime and the shipbuilding industries, we have been going through some hard times.
However, we will work hard in continuing to create new KANDA brands for the future generations.
